Industrial gas-phase pollutants like ammonia, CO₂, and volatile amines pose serious risks—from equipment corrosion and odor complaints to regulatory non-compliance. Traditional scrubbers and packed towers often fall short, consuming massive energy, requiring frequent chemical replenishment, and risking secondary emissions. The UHER AuraSep™ Pack redefines gas-liquid separation with a breakthrough PTFE hollow fiber membrane contactor.

Operating on the principle of membrane absorption, the AuraSep™ Pack uses hydrophobic PTFE fibers to create a stable interface between wastewater and an absorbent liquid (e.g., dilute acid). Gaseous contaminants like NH₃ or CO₂ selectively diffuse through the membrane pores and are instantly captured—without air stripping, aerosol formation, or ammonia slip. This ensures zero secondary pollution and clean air discharge.

Proven in real-world applications, the system achieves >99% ammonia removal—reducing concentrations from 5,000 mg/L to <100 mg/L in pharmaceutical wastewater—and 95% CO₂ capture efficiency in flue gas streams at 35–41°C. Its compact footprint (e.g., just 2.5m × 1.2m for 100 m³/day) and 70% lower energy use (no blowers or recirculation pumps needed) make it ideal for space-constrained or remote sites.

Critically, the PTFE membrane withstands extreme conditions: high salinity (>10,000 mg/L TDS), strong acids/bases, and organic solvents—where conventional PP membranes fail within months. With a lifespan exceeding 5 years and minimal maintenance, the AuraSep™ Pack delivers reliable, low-OPEX performance across sectors including pharma, data centers, wastewater plants, and industrial parks.

In a world demanding cleaner air and smarter resource recovery, the AuraSep™ Pack stands as a silent guardian—turning hazardous gases into manageable byproducts, safely and sustainably.
